Jermaine and his brothers were fiction characters on the The Jackson 5ive, a Saturday morning cartoon series of 23 episodes of 30 minutes produced by Rankin/Bass and Motown Productions that aired on ABC from September 11, 1971 until October 14, 1972 portraying the careers of The Jackson 5. On January 15, 2013, DreamWorks Classics released The Jackson 5ive: The Complete Animated Series on DVD and Blu-ray.

In 2007 Jermaine participated in Celebrity Big Brother 2007, also known as Celebrity Big Brother 5, the highly controversial fifth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. The series was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK , from 3 January 2007 and ran for 26 days with the finale on 28 January 2007. Jermaine finished as runner-up and was known as the peacemaker among the household.

In 2008, Jermaine participated in American celebrity reality television Gone Country (season 2) in which contestants competed to become a country music singer. In the finale episode, Jermaine performed “Natural”, earning him a joint number one place on the show. Jermaine co-wrote “Loving You Is The Natural Thing To Do” with Nashville songwriters Billy Lawson and Anthony Smith. Watch the episodes on our YouTube channel. 

Early 2009, Jermaine and his brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie began filming a reality show centering around The Jacksons and their planning of a new album and tour in celebration of the band’s fortieth year in music industry. Following the sudden death of Michael in June of 2009, more footage of The Jacksons was shot showcasing the brothers coping with the loss of Michael and the production aired as The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty television series debuting in December of 2009.

In April of 2014, ABC network debuted the third season of Celebrity Wife Swap with an episode of Jermaine swapping Halima with Daniel Baldwin. At the end of the show, Jermaine vowed to never do such a show again.
